Karl Nielsen holds degrees in psychology and sociology and is co-founder of AITI, which he established in 2001 together with Nandana Nielsen and other pioneers. He developed NLPsy (NeuroLinguistic Psychology) as a scientifically grounded "4th wave" of NLP and NLPhil (NLP & Philosophy) as the emerging "5th wave".
